Our Story
Founded two years ago, Mobilizing Organizations for Voice and Empowerment (MOVE) emerged from a shared commitment by local leaders, youth organizers, and women advocates to strengthen South Sudan’s civil society from the ground up.
In a landscape defined by political transitions and closing civic space, MOVE was established to serve as an independent, non-partisan bridge between grassroots communities and public decision-making processes. Over the past two years, our local initiatives have focused on demystifying governance, fostering peaceful dialogue, and equipping marginalized populations with the tools needed to advocate for their rights.
Our governance is rooted in South Sudanese expertise: local peace practitioners, community advocates, and youth policy specialists lead our mission.
